Celebrating the life of
John Gilbert
In memory of John Gilbert, we pay tribute to our former president of the Kalamazoo Scottish Festival Association (through 2024).
His legacy lives on through the beloved Nessie Wagon, a delightful addition to our 2024 Festival that brought joy to so many. John crafted the Nessie over the summer of '24, and was able to see her bring smiles and laughter at our Festival in September. John passed away a few short weeks later.

John’s passion and dedication will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Thank you, John, for your invaluable contributions to our community.
